Equipment: Akane carries an old Asauchi, mounted shirasaya-style. This was stolen from Otoha Kurenai, and it was once hers before she was able to manifest her own Zanpakutō. Since it was used to manifest a Zanpakutō, it cannot be bonded to.

Trained Abilities:
Zanjutsu: Akane is surprisingly good with a sword, but she hasn't had any formal training. She could easily stand up to a seated officer, but anything more than that would be too much.
Hakuda: Akane, knowing her mother, has really tried to perfect her hand-to-hand combat. It's working, but she doesn't have any formal training in it.
Kidō: Akane has a natural affinity for Hadō, but not in the way others have an affinity. Akane can put a lot of raw power into her Hadō. This causes it to be unstable, meaning it has a 30% chance to backfire. However, if it succeeds, it's roughly 25% stronger.
Hohō: She has not learned how to do this.

Reidaigoku: (霊内獄; Interior Spirit Prison) The Reidaigoku is a complex layer of Kidō and Kaidō, formed into a seal across Akane's body. This seal is designed to severely inhibit her natural Reiryoku growth by weaving the sealed's Reiryoku into the seal to power it. The thought was that the seal would prevent her from growing into her parents' naturally high Reiryoku. At first, it worked. Akane's Reiryoku development was proceeding slowly even for someone young. But as Akane grew older, the seal's effects began to reach their limits. The seal was re-applied a total of ten times on top of itself. This, however, caused a serious issue with Akane's own growth. Although she is around 1,000 years old, Akane's body is stuck at that of a late teenager.

Since Akane ran away from her former caretakers and Fū Endō's death, the seal has not been re-strengthened in years. This has caused a hefty amount of degradation in the seal. And as such, it's possible for the pent-up Reiryoku that is interwoven into the seal to be released in a burst of energy. Akane's current body can not handle the sudden burst, and as such her body is transformed into a version that can handle the new Reiryoku. This version of her is effectively what she would have looked like if her body's growth hadn't been stunted.

Akane can not control the release of the Reidaigoku. It only happens in moments of extreme emotion and distress, as her Reiryoku goes out of control and the seal cracks. Eventually, the seal will break entirely if her Reiryoku grows too potent. This release will last for about six posts in terms of combat, or two minutes when there isn't additional exertion. Akane receives the following boosts from the seal's release:

• Height growth to 5'11.
  
• Natural Stat Boost of +15
  
• Tier Boost of one tier and one subtier (if this pushes her to an additional tier, the subtier does not apply [e.g. if she goes from 3-1, she does not go to 1-5, but to 2-1])
  

After the effect ends, the Reidaigoku's effects are enhanced for the rest of the thread for combat effectiveness, and 12 hours outside of combat:

Character Synopsis
Akane Nijimura is not what someone would call a “normal girl.” Nah, far from it. She’s the splitting image of her mother, just a lot younger… and with an infatuation with her mother. It’s a bit hard to understand, so put it like this. Take the biggest Lilith fanboy or fangirl you can think of… and then pretend that thing is Lilith. Boom, Akane.

Akane is the daughter of Kaito Tōma and Lilith Blake. She only knows who her mother is. She was taken from Lilith right after birth, and Lilith's memory of the situation was erased. Kaito, however, never knew. Akane has learned that a Captain was her mother, and she's snuck into the Gotei 13... and found the only one who matches everything (except for her single blue eye). That is Lilith, and now Akane has to prove to Lilith that she is her daughter.
