Skills and Tiers

Tier: A tier is the amount of “spiritual energy” that a character has, no matter what race. The amount of “spiritual energy” a character has dictates quite a few physical aspects of that character. A character with low “spiritual energy” will not have enough power to take on other characters that have a higher a higher “spiritual energy” than their own.

Spiritual Energy: Depending on what race your character is, their energy will be called something different. For example, a Shinigami's energy is called “reiryoku”. Reiryoku is the force that powers their skills and abilities, allowing them to preform the incredible feats they do.

Skills: Skills come in two different ways: natural and racial. Skills are aspects of a character that govern what they can improve in through experience and training.

Natural Skills: There are five natural skills: Agility, Durability, Endurance, Speed, and Strength.

Racial Skills: There are a different amount of skills depending on your character's race. For example, a Shinigami has four racial skills: Hohō, Hakuda, Kidō, and Zanjutsu. See the definitions of these skills here: Click Here.

This tier and skill system works together to people the ability to customize their characters to a certain degree upon approval. No App, unless it is considered a special case, will be approved above a 1-1. Depending on the tier given, an approved character will be given two amounts of skill points to work with, one for racial and another for natural. The chart below explains the tier distribution. The character's owner can distribute the points through out the skills, but no skill can go above 80. A character must be role played to get any higher than that.

Base Skill Level Max: 100 Abilities can bring skills above the max; 300 is max with abilities.
